Being Human (2008)

Hey guys!

I wanted to do another post about one of my favourite shows and thats Being Human. The UK version or to put it another way... The BEST version!!

Im doing this post about season 1 because lets face it.... Im addicted to blogging and i have an excuse to bog again! Hehe!

I gotta say my favourite is George... Tovey plays him so well :) im sure you guys will feel the same way.

So the basic plot is that Annie is a ghost that has died in a house that George, werwolf, and Mitchell, a Vampire, move into. And because they are both supernatural beings they can see Annie. Obviously being a ghost she cannot be seen by anyone... Or can she?
What i like about the Vampires in this program is how different they are to how they are portrayed in other shows, movies and books I've seen. In this show they can go out in daylight, they eat normal food and don't actually need blood to survive. I thought that was rather random but hey not my show. In a way i think that its better because they can hunt when ever they want and not actually restricted to after hours. Well thats my opinion any way. Im sure you guys have your own.
As a rule Vampires hate werwolf and vice-versa but in this instance george and mitchell are best friends. It does explain how they become friends but i wont spoil it for you.
Their mission in life is to be human or as near to human as possible. They try and have friends and get some neighbours round for a cup of tea but as you can imagine that goes to hell. They are soon hated after a incident including one of their neighbours kids... Not saying anymore that than for the same reason... Spoilers, not a fan.
The supernatural world doesn't like the fact that they love the human life so much so they try and put a kink in their plans so they have to try twice as hard to keep their normal life and soon realise that its not all that is cracked up to be.

Head of the vampires, Herrick is trying to get Mitchell back to the way of killing people and enjoying it but he is trying his hardest to be human and stay the way he is. But yep... You guessed it he falls off the wagon.

George is determined to stay human and not let the wolf ruin his life. He looks at it as a curse and a thing thats not a part of him and to keep it and his home separate. But one night he finds his usual space where he changes is being made into an office he is force to find another place to change, he try's the woods but its seems that night everyone is out having a picnic! So he has to change in the house and face the fact that his friends know what he is and he has to accept it and admit to himself that he is a werwolf!
George: 'My name is George, and I'm a werwolf'
Mitchell: 'Hello George'

Annie is a ghost. And she 'haunts' the place that she died. She thinks she died by falling down the stairs... But what did really happen? Again... Not into spoilers so not going to tell you.
One thing i will tell you that you will LOVE blue eyed Annie... She is badass and hard core. You know she means business when she goes blue eyed :)

Nina is a nurse at the hospital where Mitchell and George. Soon after they meet she starts dating George, i think they are a lovely couple so meant to be better than Edward and Bella from twilight! Hehe!
George actually breaks up with Nina after a while because he doesn't want to see her get hurt but Nina isn't satisfied with that answer and tried to get the truth out of him... She follows him on a full moon and im sure you can guess the rest...

Thats the characters in a nut shell the story line is in there too. Im saying this about everything i blog about but you really need to give it a go. Its so good. Perfect for supernatural fans and the best part... Its made by us!! Its 100% english! Woo!

I give this a massive 5 out of 5 stars as is one of my fav shows and i own them all on blu ray! It really is awesome!
Can NOT wait for season 5 coming May 2013!!! Yey very excited!

Supernatural, Season 1

Oh my god this series is AMAZING!!!
Its created by Eric Kripke and the stars are
Jensen Ackles
Jared Padalecki
Jim Beaver
And we see Misha Collins in season 4.
The official Genre (that of IMDb) is Drama, Fantasy, Horror, Mystery and Thriller. Quite the mouth full.
But if you like Sexy men, magic and demons then this is the show for you.
Season 1 was aired in america on 13th September 2005.
I have actually just looked this up but Season 1 alone got on average 3.81 million american viewers!!!! Now that to me is very impressive. And the show has fans all over the world so you guess how many people overall love the show. Its gotta be up in the 10million spot surely. But thats just my guess so please don't quote me on the number.
So let me get on with it.

Plot summery (thankyou IMDb):
Two brothers follow their fathers footsteps as 'hunters' fighting evil supernatural beings of many kinds including monsters, demons and gods that roam the earth. Got your attention yet?

I actually saw this in HMV and it was only £15 so i thought 'why not, ill try it got nothing to loose' well only £15 :)
Im so glad i gave it a go. I love love loved it! Its amazing.
In Season One you meet the boys and it explains why they are the way they are.
You actually see them when they are babies. Its to set the tone and mission of season 1.
The show about two brothers called Sam and Dean. And they have been on the road all their lives but you do find out why at the beginning of the season. I don't really want to say any more because i don't want to spoil it for you guys.

You learn about their mom (cant really explain more without spoiling anything) and they go searching for their father. He goes missing after a 'hunting trip' and the boys go looking for him. For all the season actually... Look how that worked out perfectly! Haha!
On the way they fight monsters, ghosts, demons and much more. Saving people and sending unnatural things back to where they belong. And searching for one Demon in particular!
Well thats the explanation in a nut shell.

I really hope I've said everything. If not I'm sure i will remember after ive posted this but i will update it for you guys :)

I defiantly give it a 100 out of 5 star rating. Its one of the best shows around. When you buy it you will agree with me.

Ice Age (2002)

I am doing a review about Ice Age purely because i am watching it and it is one of my favourite animated film.

Bet your wondering why i am doing a review on Ice Age, everyone has seen ice age! But there will be a select few that have never seen it and like i said... Its one of my favs.

POSSIBLY SPOILERS!!!!!!

This film is about, yep you guessed it, the ice age. At the start of the film you see a Mammoth called Manny going his own way while all the other animals go south for the winter. Always thought that was a funny notion cause its the ice age but hey ho thats just me.
And along the way he makes friends with a sloth called Sid... Well Sid finds Manny and tags along with him. Then they find this human child and they decide to take him back to his 'herd'. Then they meet a sabre tooth tiger call Diego and he has a secret to hide and leads them into a trap.

BEST LINE: 'why not calla it the Big Chill? Or the Nippy Era? Im just saying how do we know its an Ice Age? Because... Of all... The ICE! Haha best line in the film i think.

I dont really wanna say any more as i dont wanna spoil the while this for you and you guys hate me forever and ever :oD

But i LOVED this film. I dont care what anyone else says its for adults as well as kids. Im 25 and still enjoy it everytime i watch it. Its worth a watch what ever age you are.

I give this film a 5 star rating. Its amazing

Obsessed with TV

Hey guys

Started this blog because all i do, apart from reading, is watch tv. I have quite a bit of time to kill at the moment so thats all i do.

In this blog i will be reviewing old and new films and also tv shows. Like Greys Anatomy, supernatural and that kinda stuff.

My all time fav show at the moment is The Big Bang Theory. It is soo funny and after about 10 watches it still makes me laugh. Most of the time you dont understand a word they are saying but its still epicly funny :)
